I was hired by InterPride, an internation organization made up of LGBT Pride organizations from around the world, to do a complete overhaul of their website.

Included in the project was a complete member management system, including a front-end members-only intranet, and a multi-view events calendar.

I managed all stages of the project, including conception, strategy, design, development, testing and site management.

This is another Wordpress theme design that I whipped together for WooThemes. I have not yet heard back from them, but I’m feeling very positive about this design.

I recently had some rarely-encountered downtime and used the opportunity to design a theme for WooThemes, a popular Wordpress theme site. While designing this theme, I encountered challenges and opportunities unique to theme design. While it was difficult designing without specific content or target audience, it gave me a certain amount of artistic license that designers normally do not have.

As a volunteer Director for the Vancouver Pride Society, the not-for-profit organization behind the annual Pride Parade & Festival, I redesigned our website in 2008.

Always a work in progress, I am continuing to make updates to the site with the goal of making it a valuable resource for all 700,000 people who attend our Pride Parade.

My grandfather, Ray Crompton, passed away on December 6, 2009. As the designer in my family, I was put in charge of the visuals for the celebration. Along with scanning photos and putting together a slideshow, creating a program and the music, I created a small website for family and friends to share stories, memories and photos of my Grandad.
